Make sure the last version of matlab is. Need help with GTOPO30 command in Mapping Toolbox. 2.License issues for Mapping Toolbox subfolder 'map' I just purchased new MacBook Pro (intel) and installed Matlab using my university's site license. The license includes the Mapping Toolbox, but I seem to be having some issues with it. The user field contains the username of the person who has the license checked out. License('inuse') image_toolbox map_toolbox matlab. Get a list of licenses. Network constructor, has no licence available. Learn more about. The Neural Network toolbox is not one of the toolboxes included with the Student Version. Hello Matlab I'm running a simple code which imports a TIFF image and does a simple analysis. Originally, I coded this using another computer. When I moved to another computer and try to run it, it gave me an error stated '??? Undefined function or method 'wiener2' for input arguments of type 'double'.' When I type which wiener2 -all, it returned 'C: Program Files MATLAB R2008b toolbox images images wiener2.m% Has no license available'. The function imrotate gave me the same no license issue. Can anyone tell me what's going on here? I'm pasting the content of the code below. Thanks in advance. Hi Nathan, I should have the image toolbox installed. Here is what it came back to me when I typed 'ver'. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MATLAB Version 7.7.0.471 (R2008b) MATLAB License Number: 163130 Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Version 5.1 (Build 2600: Service Pack 3) Java VM Version: Java 1.6.0_04 with Sun Microsystems Inc. This error message also occurs if you created a user-defined function and gave it a name that is already used by a Matlab toolbox function for which you have no license (and which may not even be installed!). This triggers Matlab to block your entire folder. So, simply rename the offending function. Also see: and: Sometimes it can drive you nuts when you accidentally program a function with a name that Matlab has already chosen in one of its toolboxes. License Manager Error -4. Maximum number of users for Statistics_Toolbox reached. Try again later. To see a list of current users use the lmstat utility. This error is unacceptable when you issue a job to the cluster. You do not want to wait around for your job to start running only to have it fail due to a missing license. Fortunately, the job scheduler has a built in method to watch for MATLAB licenses and will only run a job if the licenses are available. To reserve MATLAB licenses in your script, you need to add the 'software' resource to your MATLAB script. #PBS -W x=gres:MATLAB:5%Statistics_Toolbox:5 Most users however, should not need to check out multiple licenses. Adobe device central cs4 cracked. Instead, such users should run many copies of MATLAB form the same node. The following examples provide scripts that will help users distribute jobs across a single node without using up more than one license: Example 1 - Running multiple copies of the same MATLAB code (with different parameters), each copy using a processor. In this example, the exact same function (new.m) runs on eight processors on a single machine at the same time. The example only uses one MATLAB license. The script 'run_matlab.sh' passes the function a number variable (in this case the numbers are 0-7) as the second input to the function new.m. Since this number is unique, the function new.m can use it to determine what each processor does. All three of these files should be in the same directory. You can run this example by typing 'qsub matlabLicenceEx.qsub.'
